ONYX Nail Prep & Wipe is a fast-evaporating nail cleansing solution for professional salons and home manicures. Use it before application to clean and dehydrate the nail plate, and after curing to remove the sticky inhibition layer.
How to use
- Before gel or acrylics: wipe each nail with a lint-free pad soaked in the solution to remove oils, moisture and filing dust.
- After the final cure: wipe each nail firmly once to remove the sticky layer and reveal a high-shine finish.

What does nail prep and wipe do?
Before gel or acrylics, it removes oils and moisture from the nail so the product grips better. After curing, it wipes away the sticky top layer for a high-shine finish.
What is it made from?
It is a blend of isopropyl alcohol and purified water, made for nail technicians and home gel manicures.
How do I use it?
Before application, wipe each nail with a lint-free pad soaked in the solution. After curing, wipe each nail once firmly to remove the sticky layer.
How do I remove the sticky layer from gel polish?
After the final cure, wipe each nail once firmly with a lint-free pad soaked in nail prep and wipe. Use a fresh part of the pad for each nail.
Will it remove gel polish?
No. It cleans and prepares the nail and removes the sticky layer, but it won't take gel off. Use pure acetone to remove gel and acrylics.
Can I clean my tools with it?
Yes, it can be used to clean brushes, tools and work surfaces in the salon.
How should I store it?
It is highly flammable. Keep the cap tightly closed and store it away from heat, sparks and flames, in a well-ventilated place.
